Muhammad Boota's Story

Muhammad Boota hasn’t been able to support his family and it really breaks his heart. You can help him by donating for his artificial legs. Please support Boota’s prosthesis placement to help him get back on his feet.

Muhammad Boota, a 65-year-old resident of Kasur, has been praying for a donor like you to regain mobility. He has been enduring knee joint pain since last year. Boota was suffering from uncontrolled diabetes and developed wounds on his legs last year. The wounds got infected and the doctor amputated both of his legs below the knee level to prevent the infection from spreading. Now, Muhammad Boota is unable to walk and do his daily chores. The doctor had advised him to get artificial legs.

However, Muhammad Boota cannot afford to pay for the artificial legs due to financial constraints. He isn’t able to work because of this disability. His son earns PKR 35,000 monthly which is hardly enough to support a large family of ten people. It’s next to impossible for him to pay for his father’s artificial legs.

“My condition has confined me to this house. I feel helpless when I see that my son struggles all day to bear the expenses of the family. I want to do so much for them but I can’t. Please help me.”

After a lot of distress and with the help of his doctor, Muhammad Boota has registered his case with Transparent Hands. We are determined to put him on the path to normal life as soon as we can. But, it won’t be possible without your help. Your support can change Boota’s life. He has placed his hopes in your hands. We request you to support Boota’s prosthesis placement and make it possible for him to walk independently.
