Saim Ali's Story

Saim has been suffering from a deadly congenital heart disease since birth. Only an open-heart surgery can save his life. However, his parents are unable to afford this treatment due to financial constraints. We urge you to support Saim’s open-heart surgery to prolong his life. You can make his surgery possible with as little as $10.

Five-year-old Saim, a resident of Khushab, Punjab, has been experiencing shortness of breath and cyanosis since birth. In addition, he hasn’t been able to gain weight. His parents took him to a hospital when he was a year old. Upon consultation, Saim was diagnosed with complex heart issues, including Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), Dextrocardia, Double outlet right ventricle (DORV), Right ventricular outflow tract obstruction (RVOTO), and Situs Inversus.

To treat these major cardiac defects, the doctor has advised angiography followed by open-heart surgery for CP Shut placement or Rastelli operation. Since his parents cannot afford to pay for this treatment, Transparent Hands is raising funds to save this innocent child’s life. His father is a laborer and earns just PKR 16,000 per month. He is the sole earner in the family. With this meager income, Saim’s father barely manages to make ends meet. Saim’s mother told us about her worries:

“My son wants to play with the other kids, but he is unable to do so as he suffers from shortness of breath. He cries a lot. I feel helpless whenever he cries. If you are reading this, please help us.”

Someone told Saim’s parents about Transparent Hands and they reached out to us for support. We have registered Saim’s case and are determined to provide him with the treatment he needs free of charge. However, we need your support. Save Saim’s little heart by donating generously. His future is in your hands. Support Saim’s open-heart surgery today!
