Dua Fatima's Story

Three-year-old Dua Fatima, a resident of Dera Ismail Khan, is facing a similar challenge. She was also born without the ability to hear, and her parents noticed this when she was around one year old. They took her to the doctor, who diagnosed her with sensorineural hearing loss. The doctor recommended cochlear implant surgery as the solution to help her hear and experience the world of sound.

Dua Fatima’s family consists of her parents and three siblings. Her father works as a laborer and earns a monthly income of PKR 25,000. Despite their best efforts, the family faces financial constraints that make it impossible for them to afford the costly cochlear implant surgery for their daughter. They are desperately seeking assistance to provide Dua Fatima with the opportunity to hear and live a fulfilling life.
