Ziarat Bibi's Story

Ziarat Bibi, a 43-year-old woman from Lahore, has been suffering from prolonged menstrual bleeding for several months. What started as irregular cycles has now become a daily struggle filled with pain, discomfort, and constant fatigue. The bleeding has become so excessive and unpredictable that she can no longer carry out basic household tasks or care for her children the way she used to. Deeply worried about her deteriorating health, Ziarat recently visited a local hospital. After undergoing a thorough medical evaluation, she was diagnosed with Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (DUB) — a condition that causes abnormal uterine bleeding, often unrelated to a normal menstrual cycle. Her doctor has advised her to undergo a total abdominal hysterectomy.

Without this surgery, Ziarat may continue to suffer from heavy and irregular bleeding. Moreover, it may eventually lead to severe anemia, the development of uterine fibroids, and in the worst-case scenario, even uterine cancer. Every delay increases her risk and worsens her quality of life.

Ziarat lives in a small home in Lahore with her husband and five children. Her husband works as a servant at a local hotel and earns just PKR 32,000 per month. With this limited income, the family struggles to meet their daily expenses, including food expenses as well as utility bills. There is simply no way they can manage the cost of her much-needed surgery.

With sorrow in his voice, her husband said:

“My wife has always been the pillar of our family, managing everything with strength and grace. Now, she is unable to even get out of bed on some days. I feel helpless watching her suffer like this. I request you to kindly contribute for my wife’s life-changing surgery.”

This is where your support can make all the difference. By donating, you can help Ziarat undergo the hysterectomy and reclaim her health, strength, and her role as a mother.

Let’s stand by her side during this critical time.
