Muhammad Tayyab's Story

Muhammad Tayyab, a 19-year-old man from Faisalabad, is facing a significant challenge at a very young age. Three years ago, he had a road accident. The accident caused a serious crush injury to his right leg. He was taken to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save his leg. Ultimately, a right above-knee amputation had to be performed. Since that day, Tayyab’s life has completely changed. Activities like walking and moving independently have become a daily struggle for him. His doctor has advised a right above-knee prosthesis, which can help him walk again. Tayyab is a student, and he faces immense difficulties due to the loss of his right leg. Without this artificial leg, Tayyab will remain dependent on others for basic tasks. The lack of mobility may lead to muscle weakness, joint stiffness, and other health complications. His education and future opportunities may also be affected.

Tayyab lives in a modest home with his parents and one sibling. His father works as a watchman and earns only PKR 20,000 per month. With this meager income, they hardly manage their household expenses, such as utility bills and educational expenses for the children. The family is surviving in poverty, and they can’t afford Tayyab’s much-needed artificial leg.

Tayyab’s father said in despair:

“After my son’s accident, our lives have never been the same. He is a bright student with big dreams, but losing his leg changed everything for him. I earn very little, and I cannot afford his prosthetic limb. I can’t see him in this condition. Tayyab needs your support during this time of need. Kindly help him.”

Tayyab is counting on your generosity. With your support, his life can be changed.
