Hina Aziz's Story

Hina Aziz, a 28-year-old woman from Hyderabad, Sindh, is currently 28 weeks pregnant and eagerly awaiting the arrival of her baby. However, her condition requires special medical attention. Her doctor has found that the baby is in a breech position, which means the baby is not positioned correctly for a normal delivery. After careful examination, the doctor has advised a C-section to safely deliver the baby and avoid any complications during childbirth. If Hina does not undergo the recommended C-section, the delivery may become risky for both her and the baby. It may lead to serious complications such as Obstructed labour, fetal distress , excessive bleeding, and uterine rupture. Unfortunately, the cost of the C-section is out of her family’s financial capacity.

Hina lives in a small mud house with her husband, four children, and in-laws. Her husband works as a laborer and earns around PKR 18,000 per month. This modest income is not enough to meet the needs of the entire family. As Hina’s due date is approaching, she and her family are deeply worried about the cost of the C-section. Being the sole earning member, her husband finds it impossible to save money for a C-section.

Hina’s husband said in despair:

“My wife is pregnant, and I am extremely concerned about her and the baby’s safety. The doctor says that she needs a C-section, but we cannot afford it with my modest income. I just want her and our baby to be safe and healthy. Kindly support Hina’s C-section.”
