Eshal Kamran's Story

Eshal Kamran, a 3-year-old girl from Sahiwal, has been living with hearing loss since birth. She has never been able to hear or respond to the voices and sounds around her. Life is filled with daily struggles for Eshal. Her parents took her to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After a thorough evaluation, the doctor recommended a hearing aid for Eshal. However, her family can’t afford this device. If Eshal does not receive the hearing aid soon, her condition may become even more difficult to manage. Delayed intervention will significantly affect her ability to hear and speak.

Eshal’s father is an electronics repair technician and earns just PKR 45,000 per month. Their monthly utility bills amount to PKR 3,000, and they spend PKR 7,000 on educational fees. They struggle to manage their living expenses. Due to these financial constraints, affording a hearing aid for Eshal is beyond their means. During this time of need, Eshal’s family contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help.

Eshal’s parents shared their concerns in these words:
