Abdullah’s Little Heart was Saved

Two-year-old Abdullah, a resident of Lahore, had suffered from shortness of breath, cyanosis, and repeated episodes of chest infections since birth. He was also unable to gain weight. His parents learned about his condition at the age of one. They took him to a local hospital. After the diagnostic tests and evaluation, the doctor diagnosed him with complex congenital heart conditions involving Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) and Major Aortopulmonary Collateral Arteries (MAPCA). The cardiac surgeon advised him to undergo open-heart surgery for total correction. Unfortunately, his father could not afford the cost of the surgery. He contacted Transparent Hands for financial help. 

He was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore, where his operation was successfully performed by Dr. Asim on 13-07-2023. After a stay of six days in the hospital, he was finally allowed to go home. With the help of the Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation and other kind donors, this surgery was made possible. The moment his parents witnessed their beloved son’s remarkable recovery, their hearts were filled with gratitude. 

After the surgery, not only was his life saved, but a whole new world of possibilities opened up before him. With his health restored, he can now enjoy a carefree childhood, free from the limitations he once faced. A bright future awaits, filled with countless opportunities to explore, learn, and follow his dreams.
