Adiv Asif's Story

Four-year-old Adiv Asif, a resident of Lahore, was born with a congenital cardiac abnormality. Upon consultation, he was diagnosed with Ventricular Septal Defect. The doctor advised him to undergo a Closure of Ventricular Septal Defect as a cure. But, Adiv’s parents could not afford the cost of their son’s procedure. They registered Adiv’s case with Transparent Hands. We sent Adiv to Ittefaq Hospital for his surgery. His open heart surgery was carried out by Dr. Asim Khan on 10-01-2022. He was discharged after five days of hospital stay. This operation was done with the assistance of Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation. Adiv is now on his road to a brighter future.
