Four-year-old Afzan, a resident of Gujranwala, had sensorineural hearing loss since birth. Upon consultation at a local hospital, the doctor advised cochlear implant surgery as the only choice to enable him to hear. He was admitted to the National Hospital, Lahore, where Dr. Naveed Aslam performed his operation on 4-02-2023. The doctor fixed the internal component of the cochlear implant successfully.
