Ashra Bibi's Story

38-year-old Ashra Bibi was diagnosed with a huge multinodular goiter and advised subtotal thyroidectomy. She was admitted in the hospital and the surgery was performed by Dr. Ahmad Fawad on 28-09-2020 at Lahore Care Hospital. In this procedure, most of her thyroid gland was removed except for a small thyroid remnant for preservation of the thyroid function. Ashra remained in the hospital for two days and was discharged in a stable condition. She feels much better now and has resumed her day-to-day activities.
