Four-year-old Abdul Hadi, a resident of Kasur, Punjab, had sensorineural hearing loss since birth. The doctor advised cochlear implant surgery upon consultation. He was admitted to National Hospital, Lahore, where Dr. Naveed Aslam performed his operation on 04-06-2022. He fixed the internal component of the cochlear implant successfully. He was discharged after one day of stay in the hospital. The external component of his cochlear implant surgery was fixed after seven weeks. He is discovering new sounds every day.
