Gulfam’s TGA surgery was successful

Muhammad Gulfam's Story

Muhammad Gulfam, a three-year-old resident of Narowal, had been dealing with breathlessness and frequesnt bluish discoloration of his skin. Upon consultation and necessary tests, he was diagnosed with Transposition of Great Arteries (TGA). After the diagnosis, he was advised to undergo a Senning Operation. Hence, he was sent to University of Lahore Teaching Hospital to get his procedure done on 13-09-2021 by Dr. Salman Shah. This surgery was made possible with the assistance of Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation (PCHF). He was discharged after four days of hospital stay in a satisfactory condition. He now looks forward to a bright future.
