Hadi underwent an open heart surgery
Muhammad Hadi's Story
Muhammad Hadi, aged 2 years, experienced difficulty in breathing on little exertion. His nails used to turn blue as well. When his parents took him to a doctor, his condition was diagnosed as Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). It is a cardiac anomaly which is characterized by a combination of four heart defects. The cardiac surgeon advised an open heart surgery for total correction of the defect. Therefore, Hadi was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital Lahore and the procedure was performed by Dr. Mohammaed Asim Khan on 29.01.2021. He stayed in the hospital for six days and was discharged in a satisfactory condition. Hadi is steadily recovering from his major surgery. His surgery was carried out with the collaboration of Transparent Hands and PCHF.
