Hareem’s ASD closure was successful
Hareem Fatima's Story
Hareem Fatima, a three-year-old resident of Lahore, had been suffering from Tachycardia, fever and swelling in legs since birth. Upon consultation and work up, she was diagnosed with Atrial Septal Defect. The doctor advised Hareem to undergo Closure of Atrial Septal after an open heart surgery. Hence, she was sent to University of Lahore Teaching Hospital for her procedure. Her surgery was done by Dr. Faiz Rasool on 02-11-2021 with the help of Pakistan Children Heart’s Foundation. Her surgery was successful and she was discharged after three days of hospital stay in satisfactory condition. She has now recovered and is looking forward to a bright future ahead.
