Kainat Bano Gave Birth to a Baby Girl

Kainat Bano's Story

Kainat Bano, a 27-year-old woman from Karachi, was pregnant with her second child. While she was overjoyed at the thought of welcoming another baby into her family, her heart was also filled with anxiety. She was aware of the potential risks due to her history of a previous C-section. During a routine checkup, her gynecologist strongly recommended an elective C-section to ensure the safety of both the mother and baby. However, the cost of the procedure was a heavy burden that Kainat’s family could not bear.

Kainat lived in a modest rented house with her husband and young child. Her husband, employed at a private organization, earned only PKR 37,000 per month. Out of this limited income, a significant portion went towards house rent, utility bills, and basic necessities. Saving anything extra, especially for a surgery, was beyond their means. As her due date approached, the family grew increasingly anxious about how they would manage the medical expenses necessary for a safe delivery. On March 21, 2025, Kainat was admitted to Altamash Hospital, Karachi. Dr. Bilqees successfully performed the C-section, bringing a beautiful baby girl into the world. After receiving proper post-operative care, Kainat and her newborn daughter were discharged in healthy and stable condition on March 23, 2025.
