Malaha Jabeen’s heart defect was fixed
Malaha Jabeen's Story
Malaha Jabeen, aged 3.5 years, a resident of Faisalabad faced difficulty in breathing and discoloration upon mild exertion. Upon medical consultation, she was diagnosed to have been suffering from Tetralogy Of Fallot (TOF). TOF is a birth defect that affects normal blood flow through the heart. The cardiologist advised open heart surgery for total correction. For this purpose, Malaha was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital and her open-heart surgery was performed by Dr. Asim Khan on 17.08.2021. She stayed in the hospital for four days and was discharged in a stable condition. Malaha’s health has improved a great deal since her surgery.
