Hammad Hussain's Story

Two-year-old Hammad Hussain, a resident of Rawalpindi, was born with a congenital heart defect. When his parents noticed his symptoms, they took him to the doctor. Upon consultation, the doctor diagnosed him with Ventricular Septal Defect. The doctor advised Open-Heart Surgery for VSD closure. He was sent to Ittefaq Hospital to get his procedure done by Dr. Muhammad Asim Khan on 06-04-2022. He was kept in the hospital for five days and discharged in a satisfactory condition. This surgery was done in collaboration with Pakistan’s Children’s Heart Foundation. Hammad now looks forward to a bright future.
