Saqib underwent an ileostomy reversal surgery
Muhammad Saqib's Story
Muhammad Saqib, aged 2 years, was diagnosed with a congenital digestive tract defect called Meckel’s diverticulum. He underwent an ileostomy for the complication caused by this diverticulum. Later, the doctor advised a second surgery for him. Saqib was, therefore, admitted to Akram Medical Complex and his exploratory laparotomy along with adhesiolysis and ileostomy reversal was performed by Dr. M. Bilal Mirza on 11.08.2021. He stayed in the hospital for five days and was discharged in a satisfactory condition. Saqib is slowly recovering from his major surgery.
