These websites call people for action, inviting them persuasively towards donating to people who are less fortunate. Even though it is perceived that such sites emerge mainly during catastrophes and collect donations for those struck by the violent nature, it is not really true. In fact, many donation websites work around the year, focusing on the medical needs of the poor people, raising funds for their medical expenditures and helping them survive and live healthy lives. Nearly all of the countries in the world have their own websites for this noble purpose, including Pakistan. Top 5 Online Donation Websites Providing Free Medical Care to People in Need in Pakistan

Pakistan is a developing country with a poor human development index, i.e. 0.562 as of 2018. This indicates that the living standards of a very large population in the country are not up to the mark, and the majority suffers at the hands of poor infrastructural development. It is true that it seems as though the medical and health care facilities, which comply with the modern standards of medicine, are only available to those who can pay thousands of rupees. The rest of the population finds itself forced to seek help from government institutions, which are not up to date, and are in dire need of help themselves. The result is saddening. Thousands of people die every year, in Pakistan, due to diseases that are easily curable, e.g. diarrheal diseases alone account for 6% of the deaths every year. It was because of this scenario, that noble people decided to act against this and strive to fill in the gaps the governments have failed to abridge. With the help of online donation websites, people grabbed the opportunity of projecting and conveying the medical problems of the underprivileged people and receive monetary assistance for them. Currently, there are many sites active which responsibly share the problems of people, ask for a fixed amount of money, collect the sum, and then deliver it to the concerned people. The forces behind these websites are driven by sheer empathy for human life and sufferings. Those who involve themselves, in such a cause want to bring about the change health related institutions have failed to make yet. They do not sit idle, and wait for the infrastructure to fix itself and for people associated with the medical profession to take up responsibility. These people are determined to add colours to the miserable lives of the poor and unhealthy, and for that they strive hard. However, all of their work is based on the ability of common, more privileged people, to feel the pain of others and contribute their share wholeheartedly. Top 5 Online Donation Websites Providing Free Medical Care to People in Need in Pakistan

It is our responsibility, as humans and as civilians of Pakistan, that we try and give back to the society that we took from it, and share the resources we have access to, with the less advantaged. We need to understand that with the system that we have today, and with the corruption that prevails in the society, it is close to impossible that the deserving get their due rights. The allocated budget to aid this faction of the country is already very less, and sadly decreased almost every year (reduced to only 11,058 million rupees from 13,991 million rupees), and this too fails to relieve the worries of the impoverished because of high fraud rates in government institutions. Without the assistance of the affluent, the disadvantaged do not stand a chance and will be forced to suffer consequences they do not deserve. Waiting for relevant state departments to take affirmative action that guarantees positive results is useless. Therefore, we should all gather our efforts, take matters into our own hands, and donate as much as we possibly can to these websites, so that we become the citizens Pakistan needs to move forward.
