Sadia Shafique's Story

Sadia Shafique, a 23-year-old woman from Lahore, has been suffering from intense lower abdominal pain for the past several months. Along with this pain, she also experiences dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation) and dyspareunia (painful intercourse), which have severely affected her physical health and emotional well-being. These symptoms make it difficult for her to perform daily tasks. Concerned about her worsening condition, Sadia received a medical consultation. After a thorough evaluation, the doctor diagnosed her with bilateral endometrial cysts—a painful condition where cysts form due to endometriosis on both ovaries. The doctor has recommended a Laparotomy for Endometrial Cyst removal.

If Sadia does not undergo surgery, her condition may worsen. It may lead to increased cyst size, infertility, and further complications such as rupture or internal bleeding.

However, financial limitations have left Sadia and her family feeling helpless. Currently, she is staying at her mother’s house due to her deteriorating health and ongoing conflicts with her husband. During this difficult time, her brother supports her financially. He holds a private job and earns PKR 35,000 per month. With this limited income, they cover their household needs, including utility bills of PKR 4000, food, and other basic expenses. During this time of need, Sadia has turned to Transparent Hands and asked for assistance.

With a heavy heart, Sadia said:

“The constant pain drains me every single day. I can’t even perform simple tasks without discomfort. My brother is trying his best, but we’re struggling financially. This surgery is my only hope for relief. I ask you to help me regain my health and peace of mind.”

Sadia’s only hope rests in your hands. She dreams of living a pain-free and dignified life. With your support, she can undergo this crucial surgery and get rid of this illness.

Kindly donate and be the reason Sadia smiles again.
