Nisar Bano's Story

Nisar Bano, 58 years old, was suffering from a right obstructive ureteric stone and obstructive uropathy in her solitary kidney. She was in a critical condition and was advised surgery to relieve the obstruction. Patient was admitted by Transparent Hands in Lahore Care Hospital, Lahore for 6 days and the procedure was performed by Dr. Faisal Zaeem on 10-06-20. Her right ureterorenoscopy (URS) along with intracorporeal litholapaxy (ICL) with JJ stunt were done. Her post- operative course was complicated by acute renal failure (ARF) for which her dialysis was done twice. She was managed with the best possible resources and efforts for 6 days. Unfortunately, her renal failure did not improve and she expired on 16-06-20.
