Four-year-old Abdul Rehman, a resident of Swat, has been facing the challenges of congenital sensorineural hearing loss since a young age. After undergoing tests and consultations, Abdul Rehman was advised to undergo cochlear implant surgery—a procedure that utilises an electronic device to stimulate his hearing nerve.
