Abdullah Lashari, a 51-year-old resident of Tando Allahyar, has been suffering from pain in his right kidney. The doctor diagnosed him with ureteric stones. This has made his life quite miserable.
To treat this condition, the doctor advised Abdullah to undergo a URS with DJ stent placement. His operation was done with the help of Transparent Hands on December 6, 2021, and his URS with DJ stent placement was done. However, now he needs that DJ stent removed with URS.
Unfortunately, Abdullah’s family cannot afford the hefty cost of these procedures. Abdullah is the sole earner in the family. He works as a daily wage worker and hardly manages to earn PKR 12,000 per month. With this income, it is really difficult for him to pay for his treatment. Abdullah’s wife told us:
“Most of the time we are hopeless. I’m concerned not just about my husband’s health but also for the future of my children. It is the most challenging phase of my life. Seeing my husband suffer from pain breaks my heart. Transparent Hands has given us hope. Please help us.”

Abdullah Lashari's Story
Abdullah Lashari, a 50-years-old resident of Tando Allahyar, suffered from severe pain in his right kidney. He went to the doctor to get himself checked and was diagnosed with right ureteric calculi. Upon doctor’s advice, he underwent right URS + Lithoclasty and a DJ stent placement. He reached out to Transparent Hands again for the DJ stent removal. For this purpose, he was admitted to ISRA Hospital where his procedure was performed by Dr. Rajab on 18.02.2022. He stayed in the hospital for two days and was discharged in a stable condition. Abdullah Lashari is feeling much better now.
