Adil Shehzad 's Story

Before we dive into the gory history of Adil Shehzad’s ailments, it is our request to please donate for Adil’s hip replacement surgery. Please help him walk again.

30 years old Adil Shehzad had been feeling pain in his hip joints for the past one year. At first, he did not pay any heed to it and took painkillers for temporary relief. However, over a few weeks, the pain reached a point of no return. Later, it restricted his ability to walk as well. Upon consultation, Adil Shehzad was diagnosed with bilateral avascular necrosis (B/L AVN). This AVN is the death of bone tissue secondary to loss of blood supply.

The only option to treat this defect was total hip replacement surgery. It is a surgery to replace the damaged hip joint. During the process, the surgeon replaces the old joint with an artificial joint (prosthesis).

The hefty cost of the surgery was beyond Adil’s affordability. Thus, he was registered with Transparent Hands. Transparent Hands arranged for his surgery for free. In the procedure, the orthopedic surgeon replaced his right hip joint with a prosthetic implant.

Now to regain his full mobility Adil Shehzad needs another surgery that will replace his left hip joint. Adil Shehzad has come to Transparent Hands again. Your generous help has lessened half of Adil Shehzad’s pain already. Now, please donate for Adil’s surgery and help Adil walk again.

“Transparent Hands is a miracle God bestowed upon me. They arranged the surgery for my right hip replacement in November 2020. Now, the doctors have told me that in order to regain full mobility, I need to undergo another surgery for my left hip. Please donate for my cause.”-Adil Shehzad.

Adil Shehzad works at a hospital. His monthly income is PKR 22,000 per month, which is barely enough to cover necessities and rent. Therefore, he is in no position to bear the cost of his surgery. We urge you to donate for Adil’s hip replacement surgery. Please donate now!
