Donate for Fatima’s Surgery. Twenty two year old Fatima, a resident of Karachi has been suffering from a lump and pain in her back passage for as long as she can remember. She was prescribed medicines for temporary pain relief but after some time she would get the same symptoms again. As she grew older , she became more hesitant and shy about telling about her pain and has been quietly enduring this pain all these years. After she couldn’t bear the pain anymore she was taken to Darul Sehat Hospital, where after consulting Dr. Asif Qureshi she was diagnosed with Rectal prolapse and she is advised to undergo surgery for fixation of her rectum – Ventral Laparoscopic Rectopexy.
Fatima , her four siblings and her parents live off of his father’s pension which is merely enough to provide them with food throughout the month. Since Fatima couldn’t afford the procedure, she was referred to Transparent Hands where we verified and registered her case. Fatima shared her ordeal in the following words.
“I always thought that I would always be in this pain, considering our financial circumstances. But, after coming to Transparent Hands, I have been given hope that I can live a normal, healthy life just like any other normal girl.”

Fatima Bibi's Story
Fatima Bibi, a 22-year-old resident of Karachi, had been suffering from pain in her back passage for the last seventeen years of her life. She took symptomatic treatment but it did not bring her any relief. Upon further consultation, she was diagnosed with Rectal Prolapse. The doctor advised her to undergo a Laparoscopic Ventral Rectopexy. Hence, she was sent to Darul Sehat Hospital to get her procedure performed on 12-12-2021 by Dr. Asif Qureshi. She was discharged after three days of hospital stay in a stable condition. Fatima is now cured.
