Before you dive into the gory details of Habiba’s ailment, we want you to know that you can help her. Your donations, however small they may be, will change Habiba’s life for the better. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Habiba’s plastic surgery as much as you can.

Ten years ago, at the age of three, Habiba accidentally stepped in the hearth fueled by cow manure. As a result, she suffered from severe third-degree burns. At that time, Habiba was treated with home remedies and ointments. But, as she aged, it became extremely difficult for her to walk without pain and discomfort.

Now, Habiba needs a contracture release procedure, a procedure that is performed by lengthening the tendon in question, thereby correcting the deformity. Moreover, along with the contracture release, Habiba needs a K-wire assisted split-thickness skin graft as well. While there is no doubt about the effectiveness of the aforementioned procedures, there is no denying that they are expensive. 

Unfortunately, Habiba’s parents cannot afford the hefty cost of plastic surgery. They hail from a small town named Khuzdar. Habiba’s father works on a farm and hardly manages to earn PKR 8000 per month. With a family of eight to raise, he is in no position to arrange his daughter’s plastic surgery. Habiba’s mother told us:

“My daughter has been unable to walk without any pain for the last ten years. Ten years is a lifetime. I do not have the heart to see my daughter in pain anymore. Please help her.”

Habiba’s parents have circled back and forth to various hospitals in search of affordable surgery. But, their efforts went in vain.
