Donate for Hanzala’s cochlear implant

Muhammad Hanzala's Story
Muhammad Hanzala’s needs your support to explore the world of sounds. Please donate for Hanzala’s cochlear implant surgery to make it possible for him to live his life to the fullest.
Four-year-old Muhammad Hanzala, a resident of Dir, has been suffering from sensorineural hearing loss since birth. His parents were unaware of this till he reached the age of one. They took him to a hospital when they noticed that he wasn’t responding to sounds. After evaluation, he was diagnosed with sensorineural hearing loss. ENT specialists advised him to undergo cochlear implant surgery. A cochlear implant is a small, complex electronic device that can give a profoundly deaf person the ability to hear.
A cochlear implant is an expensive procedure that Muhammad Hanzala’s father cannot afford. He earns just PKR 14,000 per month. He has a family of five members to support with this meager income. In these challenging times, it is very difficult for him to pay for his son’s cochlear implant surgery due to financial constraints. Muhammad Hanzala’s father shared his distress with us in the following words:
“The happiest day of my life will be when my son starts responding to my voice. My son doesn’t even know his name. He deserves to live like all the other kids his age. If you are reading this, please help us get through this difficult time.”
Recently, his father came to know of Transparent Hands and registered his case with us. We are determined to help him. Now, we need your donations to give Hanzala the sense of hearing. We urge you to donate for Hanzala’s Cochlear Implant Surgery. His future depends on your generosity. You can change his life with a small donation. Hanzala and his family will be grateful to you. Please donate as much as you can.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.

Muhammad Hanzala's Story
Hanzala, a four-year-old from Lower Dir, has been living with sensorineural hearing loss since birth. His concerned parents brought him to a hospital for a medical examination, where the doctor recommended cochlear implant surgery. She was subsequently admitted to Ali Medical Centre in Islamabad and underwent surgery performed by Dr. Jawwad Ahmed on September 8th, 2022. During the operation, Dr. Ahmed successfully implanted the internal component of the cochlear implant.
Following a one-day stay in the hospital, Hanzala was discharged. The external component of the cochlear implant was then fixed a few weeks later. Thanks to the successful surgery, She can now hear his parents' voices for the first time. Donate for cochlear implants to give the gift of voice to children like Hanzala.
