Muhammad Huzaifa's Story

Muhammad Huzaifa is a bright kid who wants to achieve great things in life. However, he was born without the sense of hearing. Your donation can help him explore the worlds of sounds. He is often clueless about what is happening around him. He sees his father reciting the Holy Quran, but he has never heard his father’s voice. We urge you to donate for  Huzaifa’s cochlear implant surgery. Your kindness will change this innocent boy’s life.

Muhammad Huzaifa, a five-year-old resident of Lahore, was born with hearing loss. His parents were not fully aware of his condition until he was old enough to respond to sounds. He was referred to an otolaryngologist. To diagnose Huzaifa, the doctor ran a series of tests. When the reports arrived, Huzaifa was diagnosed with Sensorineural Hearing Loss. Huzaifa’s doctor advised him to obtain a hearing aid, but his parents couldn’t afford it. Huzaifa went for further evaluation when his hearing abilities failed to develop over time. His doctor advised him to obtain a Cochlear implant. Huzaifa’s hearing can be corrected with a medically implanted neuroprosthetic.

Unfortunately, Huzaifa’s family cannot afford the enormous cost of this treatment. His father is the only earner in his family of seven. In these difficult circumstances, Huzaifa’s father cannot afford to get him a Cochlear Implant.

Huzaifa’s father expressed his distress in the following manner:

“When I look at other kids his age, my eyes often well up with tears. He cannot communicate with them and I wonder if he will have all the opportunities they will get in their lives. If you are reading this, please help my son overcome this disability.”

We have registered Huzaifa’s case and will do everything we can to help him. But we can only do this if you support us in this noble cause. Please donate for Huzaifa’s cochlear implant surgery as much as you can.

Muhammad Huzaifa's Story

Five-year-old Muhammad Huzaifa's life changed forever when he underwent a successful cochlear implant surgery on June 22, 2022, performed by Dr. Asim Iqbal at National Hospital Lahore. Born with sensorineural hearing loss, he was unable to hear his parents' voices until now. The internal component was fixed during the procedure, and after just one day of hospital stay, Muhammad was on his way home. Six weeks later, the external component was added, allowing him to hear sounds for the first time. His father’s unwavering support and the expertise of the medical team made this life-changing event possible.
