Nimra Waseem's Story
Nimra Waseem’s life has been nothing but a fevered dream. Her vision is blurry and her eyes fill with water every few minutes. Before you dive into Nimra Waseem’s tale of woes, please know that you can help her. Your donations can change Nimra Waseem’s life for the better. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Nimra’s cataract surgery.
Six-year-old Nimra Waseem has been suffering from a bilateral cataract by birth. A cataract is a clouding of the normally clear lens of your eye. For people who have cataracts, seeing through cloudy lenses is a bit difficult. It is like looking through a frosty or fogged-up window.
To treat this condition, the doctor advised Nimra Waseem to undergo an Anterior vitrectomy as well as an LMA with IOL. The goals of anterior vitrectomy are to remove the vitreous from the anterior chamber. LMA with an intraocular lens (IOL) is a brief surgical procedure where the cataract-affected lens inside the eye is removed. Then an artificial lens is placed and the defected lens is removed. Unfortunately, Nimra’s parents cannot afford the hefty cost of these surgeries. Transparent Hands arranged for these procedures for her left eye. Now, the doctors need to do the same procedures on her right eye. Nimra’s father told us:
“I am extremely grateful to Transparent Hands for helping me and my daughter in this difficult time. Thank you very much.”
In hopes of a brighter, disease-free future, Nimra Waseem awaits your donations to undergo the first step towards an improved life. Therefore, we request you to donate for Nimra’s Cataract Surgery and help her restore her vision. Because of you, Nimra Waseem can materialize her dream of leading a normal life filled with colors.
Disclaimer: Transparent Hands makes sure that all the patients get surgery in time. If a patient requires urgent surgery and his/her condition is serious, Transparent Hands conducts the surgery immediately. In the meantime, his/her campaign stays active on the website until we raise the complete funding. The hospitals on our panel have complete trust in us and wait for the payments until the patient's funding is completed.

Nimra Waseem's Story
Nimra Waseem, a six-year-old resident of RajanPur, had been suffering from blurry vision in both of her eyes since she was born. Upon diagnosis, Nimra was told that she suffers from Congenital Cataract. She was advised to undergo a LMA, Ant. vitrectomy and IOL insertion for both eyes, one after another. Her left eye’s surgery had already been done with the help of Transparent Hands. She came to us again for her right eye’s surgery. For this purpose, Nimra was sent to Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Trust. She got her procedure successfully done by Dr. Asif Manzoor on 29-12-2021. She was discharged after one day of hospital stay in satisfactory condition. Nimra’s vision is now clear because of your donations so keep donating.
