Muhammad Said's Story

Before you dive into Muhammad Said’s story, we want to let you know that Muhammad Said is in a lot of pain right now. His financial situation is the only hurdle standing between him and the treatment he needs. Therefore, we urge you to please donate for Said’s Knee Replacement.

For the last six years, seventy-six-year-old Muhammad Said has been suffering from pain and swelling in his knee joints. He went to the doctor for his check up and after some x-rays, the doctor diagnosed him with advanced Osteoarthritis in the left knee. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease in which the cartilage between joints begins to break down and the surfaces of the joint become roughened, thus creating friction. As a result, the movement becomes painful, and the joint becomes stiff. Due to this condition, his pain has become unbearable for him.

To treat this, the Orthopedic surgeon has advised Muhammad Said to undergo a Knee Replacement surgery for his left leg. Knee Replacement surgery involves replacing the weight-bearing surfaces of the knee joint to relieve pain and disability. While there is no doubt about the efficacy of the surgery, unfortunately, Muhammad Said cannot afford the hefty cost of a Knee Replacement Surgery. He told us:

“I am seventy-six years old. Most days, I find it a miracle if I manage to get out of bed without falling. At this point, my knee joints hurt so much, I cannot even bear it anymore. Whoever is reading this, I request you to please donate for my surgery.”

After a lot of distress, Muhammad Said has requested Transparent Hands for help. We have assured him that we would arrange his surgery as soon as possible. Now, all we need is your help. Donate for Said’s Knee Replacement as much as you can.
