Husnain Muawiya is a 5 years old happy child who lives in a small town in Mianwali with his parents and 2 school going siblings. Husnain also wishes to go to school and study but his health is not allowing him to even walk and play. He was only one and half years old when he was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) – a cardiac anomaly that refers to a combination of four related heart defects that commonly occur together.

Doctor advised his parents to prepare him for open heart surgery as soon as possible. Husnain’s parents visited various local hospitals for free surgical treatment but they put him on a long waiting list. Three years have passed but Husnain didn’t get surgery date yet. His parents also contacted many other organizations for support but they didn’t receive any positive response. They didn’t have money to get him operated from a private hospital. His father works as a gardener and hardly earns around 13,000 rupees a month. In such meager income, they struggle to meet their household expenses. Husnain’s health is deteriorating with each passing day. He experiences chest pain, coughing and difficulty in breathing. His skin color also turns blue whenever he cries.
