Fazeelat Bibi's Story

Fazeelat Bashir, age 25, got married 7 years ago and has two sons and a daughter all under the age of 6. She is now pregnant for the fourth time. All her children were delivered by LS C-sections due to complications during pregnancies and this time again, her child is to be delivered via a C-section.

Fazeelat Bibi’s husband works as a laborer with a mason and gets 500 PKR/day, with an average of 12,000 PKR/month. During all three of her previous LS C-sections, financial help was given to Fazeelat Bibi by relatives and friends. This time, she is not in a position to ask someone close for help because almost everyone is facing a financial crunch due to the coronavirus outbreak. She visited her local hospital for a free surgical procedure but didn’t find help there either. Fazeelat has now come to Transparent Hands to seek assistance.

Fazeelat Bibi's Story

Fazeelat Bashir, 25 years old, was about to give birth for the 4th time. She had surgeries done for her previous childbirths as well. She was advised for an elective surgery again this time. Her C-section was done on 08-09-20 in Abid Hospital by Dr. Sadaf Aqeel. She was very pleased to give birth to a baby girl. She stayed in the hospital for two days and was later discharged along with her healthy baby girl.
