Kashif Mehmood's Story

Before you dive into the story, we want to tell you that Kashif Mehmood is in a lot of pain right now. The only option for cure is surgery which can become possible through your help. Therefore, we urge you to please donate to Kashif Mehmood’s pylolithotomy.

Thirty years old Kashif Mehmood hails from a small village near Sheikhupura district. Kashif spent the last six years in hospital corridors, waiting for doctors. Unfortunately, his efforts brought no substantial result.  Six years ago, Kashif Mehmood felt a blinding pain in his lower abdomen. The people around him immediately took him to the hospital where the doctors provided him with emergency relief from pain. Consequently, he was discharged from the hospital. In the course of the next few months, Kashif suffered from recurrent episodes of severe abdominal pain. Upon thorough examination and tests, the doctors diagnosed Kashif with renal stones in the right kidney.

Consequently, the doctor advised him to undergo a pylolithotomy as soon as possible. A pylolithotomy is the surgical removal of kidney stones. Therefore we urge you to please donate to Kashif Mehmood’s pylolithotomy.

“I have spent the last six years in this unbearable pain. I took all the medicines the doctors prescribed. As per doctor’s suggestion, I drank gallons of water but nothing helped. Now the doctor tells me that surgery is the only option. Please help me, I am at my wit’s end.” -Kashif Mehmood.

Kashif Mehmood works as a manual laborer. He earns PKR 12000 per month. Due to his condition, work has become impossible. Therefore, he is in no position to bear the cost of his surgery.

As a last resort, Kashif Mehmood has requested Transparent Hands for urgent help. We have assured him that we will do our best to relieve his pain. Now, all we need is your help. Donate to Kashif Mehmood’s  pylolithotomy as much as you can.

Kashif Mehmood's Story

Muhammad Kashif Mehmood, 30 years old, suffered from recurrent debilitating pain in his right lumber region, for almost six years. On medical consultation, he was diagnosed with renal stones. The doctors initially prescribed medicines for him. These medicines provided him temporary relief but the pain did not subside completely. As a result, Kashif’s physician recommended surgical removal of his kidney stones. For this purpose, he was admitted to Akram Medical Complex and his right Pyelolithotomy surgery was performed by Dr. Shahjahan Khan on 25.02.2021. A stent was also placed in Kashif’s right kidney. After four days of hospital stay he was discharged in a satisfactory condition. Kashif has had significant relief in his lower abdominal pain ever since his surgery.
