Nizamuddin, aged fifty eight , a resident of Karachi, has been suffering from chest pain and agitation for the last one year. Nizamuddin is already diabetic and taking symptomatic medicines for it. With a health condition going on already, this chest pain is affecting his life in many ways and eventually there came a day when he could not bear it and was rushed to hospital where his Angiography was performed. After the Angiography, the doctors diagnosed Nizamuddin with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). Acute coronary syndrome is a term used to describe a range of conditions associated with sudden, reduced blood flow to the heart. Nizamuddin was further advised to undergo a Coronary Angioplasty.

Nizamuddin’s daughter is a nurse and works at a private hospital. She is the only earner in the family. It is very difficult for her to afford the cost of her father’s surgery.

Nizam uddin's Story

Nizam Uddin, a 58-year-old resident of Karachi, had been suffering from chest pains and agitation for the last one year. He took symptomatic treatment but it didn’t bring him any relief. Upon further consultation, he was diagnosed with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). To Treat this, the doctor advised him to have an Angioplasty. For this purpose, Nizam Uddin was admitted to Patel Hospital on 25-11-21. His procedure was carried out by Dr. Rizwana Yasmeen the same day. Two of his blocked arteries were opened and the surgeon placed two stents. He was discharged the following day in a stable condition.
