Talha Ijaz's Story
“My beloved son who always has a smile on his face is now going through a painful condition. I don’t know how to provide him relief. I’m ashamed of myself for not being able to do anything for my son when he needs me the most.” – Talha’s father
5 years old Talha is a patient of Hypospadiasis – a congenital condition in males in which the opening of the urethra is on the underside of the penis. He was diagnosed with this condition at birth. Doctors advised his parents to prepare for surgery (urethroplasty), otherwise, his disease could make him impotent in future.
Talha’s father doesn’t have sufficient resources to get him treated. He works as a daily wage laborer and hardly makes around 20,000 PKR a month. He has the responsibility of his 6 children, wife and old mother. Talha’s father sought help from local hospitals in his district but they all demanded money for surgery. At last, this family came across Transparent Hand and contacted the organization for free surgical treatment.
“I want to help my family like all children do but for that, I need to study hard. Will you help me fulfill my dream?” – Talha
Talha has a right to fulfill his dreams and this can only happen if he grows into a healthy boy. Come forward and donate as much as you can for this child’s bright future.
Disclaimer: Transparent Hands makes sure that all the patients get surgery in time. If a patient requires urgent surgery and his/her condition is serious, Transparent Hands conducts the surgery immediately. In the meantime, his/her campaign stays active on the website until we raise the complete funding. The hospitals on our panel have complete trust in us and wait for the payments until the patient's funding is completed.
