Nazia Naeem's Story
Nazia Naeem, a 29-year-old woman from Kasur, is eagerly waiting to hold her baby in her arms. At 32 weeks of pregnancy, she dreams of the moment she will hear her newborn’s first cry. However, this joy is overshadowed by worry and fear. Having undergone a previous C-section, her gynecologist has recommended another elective C-section for safe delivery. With each passing day, her anxiety grows as she and her husband struggle to arrange the required medical expenses.
If Nazia does not undergo the C-section, both her and the baby’s life will be at serious risk. A delay or complications during natural childbirth may lead to rupture of the uterus, excessive bleeding, or severe distress to the baby.
Nazia is a housewife who dedicates her life to caring for her family. She lives in her own modest home with six family members. Her husband, a factory worker, is the sole earner, making only PKR 22,000 per month. With this limited income, they struggle to cover their utility bills as well as food and medical expenses. Affording to pay for Nazia’s much-needed C-section is significantly challenging for them. Every mother dreams of a healthy delivery, but without financial assistance, Nazia is left feeling helpless. During this challenging time, Nazia’s husband contacted Transparent Hands and asked for assistance.
With tears in his eyes, her husband said:

Nazia Naeem's Story
Nazia Naeem, a 29-year-old woman from Kasur, was pregnant with her second child. Nazia was extremely happy when she learned about her pregnancy. Having undergone a C-section in her previous delivery, Nazia was well aware of the complications that could arise during childbirth. Determined to ensure a safe pregnancy, she began regular checkups with a gynecologist at a local hospital. After careful monitoring and multiple consultations, her doctor advised her to undergo another C-section to prevent any complications during delivery. However, the cost of the C-section was out of her family’s reach.
Nazia is a devoted housewife who spends her days taking care of her home and loved ones. She lives with six family members in a humble house. Her husband works in a factory and earns a modest monthly income of just PKR 22,000. With such limited resources, the family struggles to keep up with household expenses, including utility bills, groceries, and occasional medical needs. The cost of the surgery was simply beyond their means. During this time of need, Nazia and her husband reached out to Transparent Hands. Moved by her plea, we quickly registered her and made arrangements for her surgical care.
On February 18, 2025, Nazia was admitted to Akram Medical Complex, Lahore. Her C-section was successfully performed by Dr. Asia, and she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. After receiving proper post-operative care, she was discharged in good health on February 20, 2025.
Nazia said with tears of happiness in her eyes: “I was worried about my baby’s safe delivery due to my previous C-section. With your support, everything went smoothly. Holding my healthy baby in my arms is a blessing I’ll never forget. You made this moment possible for me.”
Nazia now holds her newborn in her arms, filled with gratitude and joy. She is healing well and cherishing every moment of motherhood.
