Adnan, a 56-year-old resident of Sargodha, had a road accident six months ago in which his right arm was severely crushed. He was taken to the hospital’s emergency room, but the doctors could not save his limb. They had to amputate his right arm below the elbow and advised him to get a prosthetic arm.
He lives in a rented house with his wife and two children. He is jobless due to his disability. His wife is working as a maid and earns PKR 10,000 per month. With this limited income, it is not possible for him to pay for an artificial arm. He said in despair:
“My life has been a constant struggle. I cannot perform simple tasks that I once did easily without any effort. I am in constant pain, both physical and emotional, and I feel as though I have lost a part of myself. I need your financial help to get back to my work and feed my family.”

After being referred to the Hope Rehabilitation Centre, Adnan’s artificial arm was fixed on 28-04-2023 under the supervision of Dr. Khalid.
