Give For Anabia Ayaz’s Open-Heart Surgery
Anabia Ayaz's Story
Anabia Ayaz, a 2-year-old girl from Rahim Yar Khan, has been experiencing shortness of breath and chest discomfort since birth. Activities like crying, feeding, and walking short distances make her gasp for breath. Anabia’s skin often turns blue which indicates that her body is not getting enough oxygen. Concerned about her condition, her parents took her to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After undergoing tests and examinations, Anabia was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) – a combination of four heart defects. To correct her heart defects and prevent further complications, her doctor has advised open-heart surgery for total correction. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery is out of her family’s reach.
Without surgery, Anabia’s condition will continue to deteriorate. It may cause serious breathing problems and increase the risk of heart failure. She will struggle to grow normally or participate in everyday activities. Timely medical intervention is crucial to protect her health and save her life.
Anabia lives in a modest home with her joint family of eight members. Her father, the sole breadwinner in the family, works at a flour mill and makes just PKR 16,000 per month. This income is insufficient to cover their utility bills, food, and other living expenses. Anabia’s parents pray for a miracle day and night, knowing that they can’t do anything for their daughter. They are surviving in extreme poverty, and paying for Anabia’s surgery is just a distant dream for them.
With teary eyes, Anabia’s parents said:
“Anabia is fighting to survive each day of her life. She deserves to live a happy and normal life like other kids. Every time we see her, it reminds us of our helplessness. We are already struggling to make ends meet and saving money for Anabia’s surgery is just out of our reach. Kindly save our daughter’s life through heart surgery.”
Anabia relies on your generosity. Only you can provide her with the opportunity to grow and thrive in life like other kids. Your donations can make all the difference.
Open your hearts and save Anabia’s life.

Anabia Ayaz's Story
Anabia Ayaz, a 2-year-old girl from Rahim Yar Khan, had been struggling to breathe since birth. Even everyday activities like crying, feeding, or walking short distances left her gasping for air. Her skin and lips often turned blue, a frightening sign that her body wasn’t getting enough oxygen. Worried about their daughter’s worsening condition, Anabia’s parents took her to a nearby hospital. After a series of medical tests and examinations, the doctor diagnosed her with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), a complex congenital heart defect involving four abnormalities. The only way to save Anabia’s life was to undergo open-heart surgery for total correction. However, the cost of the surgery was far beyond her family’s financial capacity.
Anabia lives in a modest home shared with her joint family of eight members. Her father, the sole earner, works at a flour mill and brings home just PKR 16,000 per month. With this limited income, the family struggles to manage utility bills, food, and daily living costs. Affording such an expensive and life-saving surgery for Anabia was completely out of reach. In desperation, Anabia’s family reached out to Transparent Hands for support. Her case was registered, and with the heartfelt generosity of donors and the valuable collaboration of Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation (PCHF), Anabia’s surgery was made possible.
On May 2, 2025, she was admitted to the University of Lahore Teaching Hospital. The next day, Dr. Faiz Rasool successfully performed the total correction surgery. After a few days of close monitoring and care, Anabia was discharged in a stable and healthy condition on May 6, 2025.
With a smile of relief, her parents said:
“We were helpless and scared for our daughter’s life. Your support brought light into our darkest time. You’ve not only saved Anabia’s life but also given her a chance at a healthy life. We will always be thankful for your kindness.”
After the surgery, Anabia breathes easily and lives a fulfilling life now.
Her family is immensely grateful to you for helping repair her heart defects and enabling her to lead a healthy life.
