Give for Kainat’s Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy
Kainat Bibi's Story
Kainat, a 27-year-old resident of Karachi, has been suffering from excruciating pain in her right upper abdomen, accompanied by nausea and vomiting, for the past three years. She initially sought help from local doctors, who provided her with medications that only offered temporary relief. Determined to find a lasting solution, Kainat recently visited the OPD at a local hospital, where the attending doctor examined her and recommended a laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
Kainat’s situation is particularly challenging. As a divorcee, she is now living in her father’s modest two-marla house, relying on her father’s meager income as a daily wager to support herself and her two children. With a monthly income of just PKR 20,000, her father struggles to cover the essential expenses, including a monthly rent of PKR 3,000, utility bills of PKR 2,000, and school fees of PKR 1,000 for the children.
Kainat’s debilitating condition has taken a significant toll on her physical and emotional well-being, leaving her feeling helpless and alone in her battle against this persistent pain. In a heartbreaking statement, she expressed, “I can’t bear the thought of living the rest of my life in this excruciating pain. I feel like I’ve lost so much, and the only way forward is to undergo cholecystectomy surgery. With your help, I can make this happen and reclaim my life.”
Kainat’s case has been registered with Transparent Hands. However, the cost of the laparoscopic cholecystectomy procedure remains a daunting obstacle for Kainat and her family. We urgently appeal to the generous hearts of our community to come forward and support Kainat’s journey to a healthier future. Even a small contribution can make a significant difference in Kainat’s life, granting her the chance to live free from the debilitating pain and reclaim the joy and hope she deserves. Your kindness can be the light at the end of the tunnel for Kainat, transforming her life with good health.

Kainat Bibi's Story
Kainat, a 27-year-old resident of Karachi, had been suffering from pain in her right upper abdominal region for the past three years. Her condition was accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and intolerance to fatty meals. Despite receiving symptomatic treatment, her condition worsened over time. Then, she decided to consult a specialist. After a comprehensive examination and evaluation, the doctor diagnosed her with Cholelithiasis. To get rid of this condition, the doctor advised laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Unfortunately, the surgical cost was impossible to bear for Kainat’s family. Kainat’s condition was severely affecting her ability to eat, sleep, and even care for her children. Kainat is a divorcee, and she lives in her father's modest two-marla rented house. She relied on her father to support herself and her two children. Her father is a daily wage laborer and earns just PKR 20,000 per month. With this insufficient monthly income, he barely managed the household expenses, and medical bills seemed impossible. With hope in her heart, Kainat turned to Transparent Hands and asked us to register her case. The generosity of our donors enabled us to arrange surgery for Kainat at one of our panel hospitals. On 9th July 2024, Kainat was admitted to Murshid Hospital in Karachi. The surgery took place on the same day. Dr. Attaullah Roonjho performed her cholecystectomy, alleviating her pain and preventing further complications. Kainat stayed in the hospital for two days and received post-operative care. After recovery, she was discharged in satisfactory condition on 10th July 2024. Kainat said with tears of happiness in her eyes: “I can’t express how grateful I am. The pain is gone, and I can be there for my children again. I never thought this would be possible. But you gave me hope. After the surgery, I feel like I’ve been given a second chance at life. Thanks for being there!” Now, Kainat is pain-free and she is back to her daily routine, caring for her children and enjoying a better quality of life. Kainat and her family are incredibly grateful to you for changing her life and enabling her to live a happy and healthy life.
