Hakeeman Bibi's Story
Hakeeman Bibi’s Fibular Osteotomy. Before you dive into the gory details of Hakeeman Bibi’s story, know that your contribution, no matter how small, will relieve her pain. Hence, we urge you to support Hakeeman’s cause.
Sixty two years old Hakeeman Bibi, a resident of Hyderabad has been suffering from pain in her knees from the last four years. She was taking symptomatic treatment for pain relief but it didn’t work. After re-evaluation, Hakeeman Bibi was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis of both knees. She was advised by the doctor to undergo a Bilateral Proximal Fibular Osteotomy. Proximal Fibular Osteotomy is a novel yet simple procedure used to alleviate the symptoms of medial compartment knee Osteoarthritis.
Hakeeman Bibi is a widow and depends completely on her brother who is a laborer. He merely earns a PKR. 7000 a month. They have no other financial means to get Hakeeman treated. A neighbor told them about Transparent hands and they came to us seeking help. We have registered Hakeeman’s case. She shared her distress with Transparent Hands in the following words:
“ I cannot walk without support. I wish for a miracle since I have lived with this problem for years of my life now. Whoever is reading this, I request you to please donate for my surgery.”
Now that Hakeeman Bibi has been connected with Transparent Hands, we are determined to relieve her of her pain. But, that will not be possible without your donations. We request you to please contribute generously for Hakeeman Bibi’s Fibular Osteotomy.
Disclaimer: Transparent Hands makes sure that all the patients get surgery in time.
