Muhammad Irfan's Story

Join us in making a life-changing difference for Muhammad Irfan, a 32-year-old resident of Bhakkar, Pakistan. For the past 1.5 years, Irfan has endured relentless pain and swelling, desperately seeking relief. Despite his valiant efforts, his condition has only worsened over time. After undergoing a comprehensive evaluation, he was diagnosed with fibrous dysplasia, a rare bone disorder. A recent X-ray revealed a benign bone lesion in his mid-tibia, which puts him at risk of a debilitating fracture. The recommended treatment to prevent further complications is fixation and bone grafting, involving the use of a locking plate on his left tibia. However, Irfan, who earns a modest monthly income of PKR 15,000 as a daily wager, cannot afford the surgical expenses. That is why he has turned to Transparent Hands.

Irfan’s life has been drastically impacted by his condition. The persistent pain and swelling have made it increasingly challenging for him to carry out simple everyday tasks. The toll it has taken on his physical and emotional well-being is immense. Despite working tirelessly as a daily wager, his financial situation is dire, and he lacks the means to cover the costs of the necessary surgery. But we have the power to change Irfan’s life and give him hope for a pain-free future.

He said in despair:

“The pain I have endured for the past year and a half has been unbearable. It has taken away my ability to work and provide for my family. But with your support, I believe that I can overcome this challenge with your kind support.”

His desperate search for relief seemed to only lead to a worsening of his condition. However, a glimmer of hope emerged when he received a comprehensive evaluation that revealed the cause of his suffering: fibrous dysplasia, a rare bone disorder. Further complicating matters, an X-ray revealed a benign bone lesion in his mid-tibia, putting him at risk of a debilitating fracture. The recommended course of action to prevent further complications was fixation and bone grafting, which involved utilizing a locking plate on his left tibia. Unfortunately, Irfan, who earned a modest monthly income as a daily wager, could not afford the surgical expenses. In his desperate situation, he turned to Transparent Hands. With the support of generous donors, Irfan's story took a turn for the better.
