Three and a half years old Iman Fatima, a resident of Mandi Bahauddin, has been suffering from an unimaginable pain since birth. Iman was born with Anorectal Malformation. She was taken to a public hospital where her parents were advised by the doctor for her to undergo a surgery. Iman underwent a procedure where stoma was placed. For some reason, they could not secure an appointment for their daughter’s second surgery.  After Iman’s case was registered with Transparent Hands, the organization funded her to undergo a Posterior Sagittal Anorectoplasty (PSARP). 

Iman Fatima needs your assistance for her final procedure, which is a Colostomy Reversal. A Colostomy Closure surgery is an integral step in Fatima’s journey towards recovery. However, it is not an affordable surgery. Her previous surgeries were done at a public hospital. Now, because of COVID closures, they couldn’t get a date at any public hospital. They got to know about Transparent Hands. Unfortunately, Fatima’s parents cannot afford the hefty cost of a Colostomy Reversal surgery. Her father runs a small shop. He earns just enough to raise the family. He could not afford these surgeries. Iman’s father shared his ordeal in the following manner:
