Muhammad Haseeb's Story

Muhammad Haseeb, a 6-year-old boy from Kot Addu, Punjab, has been struggling with his impaired vision since early childhood. His parents noticed that he would frequently complain of discomfort in his left eye. As he grew older, his inability to see clearly began to interfere with his learning and daily activities. Concerned for their son’s well-being, his parents took him to a hospital for a medical evaluation. After a thorough examination, the doctor diagnosed Haseeb with a cataract in his left eye. A cataract is the clouding of the natural lens of the eye.

To restore his vision, the doctor has recommended Phacoemulsification with Intraocular Lens surgery for the left eye. This procedure is essential to remove the cloudy lens and replace it with an artificial one. Without this surgery, his vision may deteriorate further, potentially leading to permanent vision loss in the affected eye.

Haseeb’s father works as a laborer and earns just PKR 20,000 per month, barely enough to meet the family’s basic needs. Haseeb has six siblings, and all of them rely on their father’s income. Their monthly utility bills amount to PKR 1,850, and educational expenses total around PKR 4,000, making it nearly impossible to save for medical treatment. During this time of need, they have turned to Transparent Hands and asked for help. Haseeb’s father said with tear-filled eyes:

“As a father, it breaks my heart to see my son struggle every day with his impaired vision. I want him to succeed in school and enjoy childhood like other kids, but I can’t afford the surgery. Please help us.”

Your support can change Haseeb’s life. With your donations, he can undergo the eye surgery that will help him see clearly, grow with confidence, and achieve his dreams.

Let’s stand together and give Haseeb the gift of sight.
