Join Us in Saving Hussain’s Life with Open-Heart Surgery

Muhammad Hussain's Story
Muhammad Hussain, a 2-year-old boy from Rajanpur, has been struggling to breathe properly since birth. His tiny chest rises and falls with difficulty, and he suffers from repeated episodes of chest infections and severe shortness of breath. Simple activities like crawling or playing tire him quickly, leaving him fatigued and gasping for air.
Recently, Hussain’s parents took him to a hospital for further evaluation after his symptoms worsened. After a detailed series of diagnostic tests, the doctor diagnosed him with Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) and Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). Both of these are congenital heart defects that affect the normal flow of blood through the heart. The only way to save Hussain’s life is through open-heart surgery for VSD and PDA closure. However, the cost of the surgery is beyond his family’s capacity.
Without this life-saving procedure, Hussain’s condition can progressively worsen over time. Delaying the surgery may lead to irreversible damage and even heart failure.
Hussain lives in a modest rented house with his parents and two siblings. His father works at a garment shop and earns only PKR 25,000 per month. From this limited income, PKR 5000 goes towards house rent and PKR 2000 towards utility bills. With rising inflation and daily expenses for a family of five, they are unable to save anything for Hussain’s critical surgery. During this time of need, they have turned to Transparent Hands and asked for help.
Hussain’s father expressed his heartfelt plea as follows:
“It breaks my heart to see my son struggle for every breath. I try my best to provide for my family, but this surgery is far beyond my reach. I fear for his life every day. Kindly save Hussain’s life.”
Hussain deserves a chance to grow up healthy, and to run and play like other children of his age. Your generous support can make this possible.
Let’s join hands to ease his pain and give him the gift of life. Every contribution can make a meaningful impact on Hussain’s life.
