Let’s Ease Sadoori’s Gallbladder Pain
Sadoori Ballu's Story
Sadoori Ballu, a 55-year-old woman from Naushahro Feroze, Sindh, has been suffering from constant discomfort and pain in her upper abdomen for the past year. Her daily life has become increasingly difficult, especially after eating. Meals that once brought her joy now cause nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. She can no longer enjoy food with her family. After suffering for months, Sadoori finally visited a local hospital, where she underwent medical evaluations. The doctor diagnosed her with Cholelithiasis (formation of hard mineral deposits in the gallbladder) and advised a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. However, the cost of the surgery is out of her family’s reach.
Despite her resilience, Sadoori’s condition is deteriorating. Without timely surgery, it may lead to serious complications like gallbladder infection and bile duct obstruction.
Sadoori lives in her modest home with her husband, son, and daughters. Her husband and son work as laborers, earning a combined income of around PKR 45,000 per month. With two daughters currently studying in a government school, and regular expenses like PKR 3500 for utility bills, there’s barely enough left to cover basic household needs. Their situation is heartbreaking, as they are trying their best to make ends meet, yet still falling short when it comes to much-needed medical care.
Sadoori said with tearful eyes:
“Every day is a battle for me. I try to stay strong for my children, but the pain is getting worse. I just want to feel healthy and be there for my family again. We face immense financial hardships and can’t afford the surgery. Kindly help me receive the much-needed treatment.”

Sadoori Ballu's Story
Sadoori Ballu, a 55-year-old woman from Naushahro Feroze, Sindh, had been suffering from pain for the past year. What began as occasional discomfort in her upper abdomen soon grew into constant discomfort, especially after meals. Nausea and vomiting followed almost every meal. With each passing day, her daily life grew more difficult, and her strength faded. After months of suffering, Sadoori consulted a doctor. After a series of evaluations and tests, the doctor diagnosed her with Cholelithiasis, a condition marked by the formation of hard mineral deposits in the gallbladder. The doctor advised her to undergo a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. However, the recommended surgery came with a cost that her family simply could not bear.
Sadoori lives in a modest home with her husband, son, and two daughters. Her husband and son both work hard as laborers, bringing home a combined income of around PKR 45,000 per month.
