Muhammad Sami Ullah's Story

Muhammad Bin Sami Ullah, a 2-year-old boy from Sialkot, has never heard the sounds around him since birth. He is unable to respond to sounds and listen to his parents’ voices. While playing with other kids of his age, he often looks around in confusion, wondering why he cannot hear them. Upon noticing his hearing impairment, his parents took him to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After a detailed medical evaluation, the doctor diagnosed him with congenital Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SNHL). To open the door to the world of sounds for him, the doctor has advised cochlear implant surgery. However, the cost of the surgery is beyond his family’s reach.

If he doesn’t receive the surgery on time, he might not be able to develop the ability to hear and speak. The earlier he receives the cochlear implant, the better his chances of speech and language development, which are important at his age.

Muhammad’s father is a police constable and the sole breadwinner in the family, earning approximately PKR 53,000 per month. Despite his steady job, the cost of cochlear implant surgery is far beyond what the family can manage. After covering essential living expenses, they are left with no savings for such a major medical procedure. During this time of need, they have turned to Transparent Hands and asked for help.

His family shared with a heavy heart:

“We dream of the day when he will be able to hear and respond to our voices. It’s heartbreaking to watch him live in silence. We’re trying everything, but affording this surgery is impossible for us. We desperately need your support.”

Transparent Hands has taken up his case, but we need your help to make this life-changing surgery possible.

Donate today and help him hear for the first time. Your generosity can fill his world with the sounds of love, laughter, and life.
