Help Fahad Hear for the First Time in his Life

A vibrant four-year-old boy, Malik Muhammad Fahad, from Lahore, yearns to explore the symphony of sounds that surrounds him. However, a cruel twist of fate has left him with a condition known as Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SNHL), robbing him of the ability to hear the melodies of life. Despite his tender age, Fahad’s resilience shines through as he faces this challenging journey alongside his loving family. Fahad’s condition has left his family devastated, but their determination to give him the gift of hearing remains unyielding. The doctors have recommended a cochlear implant, a surgical intervention that can restore his ability to perceive sound.

Fahad lives in Lahore with his parents and one sibling in a rented house. His father earns only PKR 22,000 per month as a daily wager. They have fixed expenses, including a home rent of PKR 5,000, utility bills of PKR 4,000, and school fees of PKR 1,800. After covering these expenses and daily needs, there is no money left for savings. The cost of Fahad’s necessary surgery and post-operative care is too high for his father to afford. To overcome this financial challenge, the family seeks help from Transparent Hands, hoping for assistance from kind-hearted donors.

In her heartfelt appeal, Fahad’s mother speaks directly to those who hold the power to make a difference.
