Sardar Hussain's Story

Sardar Hussain’s Knee Replacement. Before you dwell on reading the story of Sardar Hussain, be sure of the fact that your help, no matter how little, will help him live a normal life. Therefore, we urge you to please donate for Sardar’s cause.

Seventy two years old, Sardar Hussain a resident of Mardan, had been enduring severe pain in his legs from the last five years. Sardar took symptomatic treatment but it didn’t work for him. His son took him to a hospital where he was told to get an X-ray and some diagnostic tests done. After the test reports were evaluated, Sardar was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis, affecting millions of people worldwide. It occurs when the protective cartilage that cushions the ends of the bones wears down over time. The doctor advised him to undergo a bilateral Total Knee Replacement. His left knee will be operated first. Sardar is old and unemployed. He lives in a joint family system with 17 people. The only breadwinner is his son. Supporting a family of 17 people is very difficult for him. Sardar expressed his ordeal to Transparent Hands in the following manner:

Being old and frail, it is very hard for me to bear this pain. I cannot do even the most basic tasks on my own with this health condition. Please help.”

Sardar depends on his son for his basic needs, who works in a private company and doesn’t earn much to afford the cost of his father’s surgery. A friend told Sardar’s son about Transparent Hands. They contacted us and we registered his case.

We are willing to help Sardar Hussain as much as we can, but we need your support. Your contribution can help him lead a better life. Hence, we request you to please donate for Sardar Hussain’s Knee Replacement generously.
