Sehrish Tanveer's Story

Sehrish Tanveer, a 26-year-old woman from Kasur, is approaching the end of her pregnancy. She is 38 weeks pregnant, and this will be her third childbirth. Due to her medical history and a previous C-section, her gynecologist has advised an elective cesarean section to ensure a safe delivery. Sehrish previously had two successful deliveries, one of which was through C-section. However, her family can’t pay for her C-section.

Given the circumstances, an elective C-section has become medically necessary to avoid life-threatening complications during labor. Without this surgery, Sehrish may face serious risks such as uterine rupture, prolonged labor, or fetal distress. Time is running out, and any delay can endanger her life and that of the baby.

Sehrish lives in a rented house with her husband, two children, and mother-in-law. Her husband is a daily wage laborer, and her mother-in-law works as a housemaid. Together, they manage to earn around PKR 45,000 per month. Out of this modest income, PKR 10,000 goes towards house rent, and PKR 1,200 is spent on educational expenses for their children. The remaining amount barely covers daily essentials like food and utilities. Despite their hard work, the family struggles to make ends meet. They are currently unable to save enough for the surgical expenses of the planned C-section.

With concern in her voice, Sehrish said:

“This pregnancy means everything to me. However, with our financial condition, we feel helpless. Please help me during this difficult time, so I can bring my child safely into this world.”

Your generous support can help Sehrish receive the much-needed surgical care. By donating, you can ensure a safe and smooth delivery for her and bring hope and happiness to this struggling family.

Let’s stand by Sehrish during this critical moment and make it possible for her to embrace motherhood once again.
